Flug Werk FW-190A-8 (c/n 980554)

Flug Werk was originally set up by airliner pilot Claus Colling and (now late) engineer Hans-Gunther Wildmoser at Gammelsdorf, Germany with the intent to build brand-new aircraft to the original famous WW2 fighter design. The first example D-FWWC (Werke Nr 990001) f/f 22.7.04 at Manching in Bavaria. The example at Duxford was roaded in on 15.12.06 and is destined for Tom Blair at Kissimmee, Florida after initial test-flying in the UK.
