Originally ordered 10.7.17 against Contract No:A.S.20391 and built by Waring & Gillow Ltd at Hammersmith, London. Completed by 14.6.18 and awaiting delivery to 110 Sqdn Kenley as a training aircraft. Reallocated and placed in store 17.6.18 and donated to India under the Imperial Gift scheme. Actual usage in India untraced but rediscovered semi-derelict at Bikaner, in the West of India in the late 1990s. Donated by the local Maharajah and shipped to the UK, initially stored at Hatch with Skysport Engineering/Tim Moore from 2001 and then moved in 2002 to Aero Vintage/Guy Black premises at St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. Restored to static condition for IWM with original serial D5649 and finally moved to Duxford where unveiled to the public 19.4.07
